As you join our program, you will find yourself in a pleasant atmosphere where the doctors and staff pledge to you their support and encouragement.
During your first visit to a My Weight Doctor™ clinic, you will be greeted at the front desk and given medical history, nutritional assessment, and enrollment forms to complete. Then one of our experienced medical weight loss specialists will give you an orientation to the program and a welcome kit to review. You will undergo testing in a comfortable examination room that will include the following evaluations:
- Computerized Body Composition Analysis (Weight, BMI, Fat Percentage, Muscle Mass, Water Weight)
- Vital Signs Checkup (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Temperature, Respiration Rate)
- Blood Work Analysis (Glucose Levels, Cholesterol, Triglycerides, CBC, CMP, Lipid Panel)
- Hormone Analysis (Thyroid TSH, T4)
- Metabolism Test (Oxygen Metabolic Assessment)
- EKG (electrocardiogram)
On your first visit, you should be prepared to be in the clinic for 90 minutes.
NOTE: The physicians at My Weight Doctor™ are licensed, experienced medical doctors, who can help you lose weight no matter what other medical conditions you may have or what medications that you are now on or may have been on in the past.
